Description
Basics
- Double effect: Clever combination of two different cartridge types.
- With the serial setup, the same water flows through both filter cartridges.
- The water is first freed from nitrate by the ion exchange resins.
- In a second step, occurs the pollution filtration inside the NFP Premium-9 filter cartridge.
- The outstanding filtration results have been proven by many scientific assessments.
- Particularly suitable for regions with high contents of nitrate in the water.
- Set is conceived for the separate water withdrawal via a separate sink tap or a three-way sink tap.
- The high-quality and massive base, made from polyoxymethylen, is manufactured entirely in Germany.
- No drilling: The filter unit can be located decently under the counter, avoiding any compromise on kitchen design.
- Cartridge replacement is comfortable and easy with the quick couplings.
Compatible filter cartridges
- Will be delivered with two different filter cartridges:
- Cartridge 1: refill cartridge NF2 with reclaimable ion exchange resin - nitrate
- Cartridge 2: NFP Premium-9:
- pure activated carbon filter cartridge
- filter mesh: 0.45 µm; flow rate: 2.5 l/min (at 4 bar)
- very high retention rates for heavy metals, pesticides, drug contaminations and chlorine
- provides the highest protection against bacteria (see assessments)
- Compatible to all 9 3/4" filter cartridges.
- For hygienic reasons, we recommend replacement of the cartridges every 6 months (according to DIN 1988).

Installation
Installation
- The filter unit can be installed at any standard water connection in the kitchen or in the bathroom.
- The assembly is delivered with an angle T-valve (3/8") and it is thus designed for separate water withdrawal.
- Hoses and 3/8-inch fittings are enclosed in the set. As required, these can be extended.
- Only to be used with cold water and must be protected against freezing.

- one Carbonit DUO-HP (serial) basic module with two quick couplings (DN 7,2)
- one device key
- one inlet hose kit containing:
- one flexible hose (approx. 80 cm long with straight connections)
- with an angle valve tee (3/8") on one side
- and a ball valve with nipple (DN 7,2) on the other side
- one outlet hose kit containing:
- one flexible hose (approx. 80 cm long with straight connections)
- with a ball valve with nipple (DN 7,2) on one side
- and one 90° compression fitting (10 mm) on the other side
- one Carbonit Refill cartridge NF2 filter cartridge
- one pack of Carbonit nitrate ion exchange resins
