Carbonit DUO-HP Classic under counter water filter
- With the parallel filter arrangement, both cartridges see the same water flow.
- Doubling of the max flow rate and retention capacity compared to e.g. VARIO-HP units.
- Is conceived for the filtration of the entire cold water flow at the tap.
- The existing sink tap can still be used and there is no need to install a new mounting.
- The high-quality and massive base, made from polyoxymethylen, is manufactured entirely in Germany.
- No drilling: The filter unit can be located decently under the counter, avoiding any compromise on kitchen design.
- Cartridge replacement is comfortable and easy with the quick couplings.
Compatible filter cartridges
- The Carbonit DUO-HP Classic will be delivered with two NFP Premium D-9 filter cartridges:
- pure activated carbon filter cartridges
- filter mesh: 0.70 µm; flow rate: 2 * 3.5 = 7 l/min (at 4 bar)
- high retention rates for heavy metals, pesticides, drug contaminations and chlorine
- provides very high protection against bacteria (see characteristics)
- Compatible to all 9 3/4" filter cartridges. Please use two cartridges of the same type.
- To filter the entire water flow at the sink tap, the combined flow rate of the cartridges must be minimum 7 l/min.
- For hygienic reasons, we recommend replacement of the cartridges every 6 months (according to DIN 1988).

Installation
- The DUO-HP Classic filter unit can be installed, without costly retrofitting, at any standard water connection in the kitchen or in the bathroom.
- Hoses and 3/8-inch fittings are enclosed in the set. As required, these can be extended.
- For filtration of the entire cold water flow at the sink tap: No need to replace your existing sink tap.
- Optionally, you may install a separate sink tap for the filtered water: angle T-valve is included.
- Only to be used with cold water and must be protected against freezing.

- one Carbonit DUO-HP (parallel) basic module with two quick couplings (DN 7,2)
- one device key
- one inlet hose kit containing:
- one flexible hose (approx. 80 cm long with straight connections)
- with an angle valve tee (3/8") on one side
- and a ball valve with nipple (DN 7,2) on the other side
- one outlet hose kit containing:
- one flexible hose (approx. 80 cm long with straight connections)
- with a ball valve with nipple (DN 7,2) on one side
- and one 90° compression fitting (10 mm) on the other side
- two Carbonit NFP Premium D-9 filter cartridges
